Under the Victorian Energy Upgrades program, eligible households and businesses may receive upfront discounts when installing approved high-efficiency reverse-cycle air conditioners.
The Victorian Government lists heating and cooling discounts for upgrades such as replacing gas room heaters, ducted gas heating, hard-wired electric heaters, old reverse-cycle units or installing eligible new systems.

Minimum Co-Payment
Minimum customer co-payments may apply under the VEU program. For many non-ducted split systems below 10 kW, the minimum co-payment starts from $200 per installed product. Larger systems, ducted systems and multi-split systems may have higher co-payment requirements.
Discounts are not guaranteed. Final eligibility, product approval, VEEC calculation, decommissioning requirements and quotation must be confirmed by the nominated VEU Accredited Provider before installation.
